Are refunds available?
Yes. Simply return the item in the same condition as when it was mailed out, repackaging it carefully, with insurance, within 10 days and you will receive a refund.
Broken or damaged items will be handled through the USPS claim routine.
My country isn't on your ship list, will you ship to me?
If you are willing to be responsible for the excessive shipping costs of mailing overseas, then I will ship it to you. However, under these circumstances, refunds will not apply. The package will be carefully packed and handled so as to minimize possible damage.
How are items packaged?
All items will be enfolded in bubble wrap, surrounded by foam pieces and then placed inside another box which will also have foam pieces inside. This insures the item will not be broken upon arrival. A handling charge of $5.00 applies to all purchases.
My item is not as described, or I don't like it, what now?
You may return it for a full refund. Carefully repackage the item as it was done when you received it, and send it back with insurance covering the price that you paid. Notify me that it is on the way back. After it arrives and is not damaged, I will issue a refund. Refunds must be received within 10 days after purchase or they will be denied.
My item arrived damaged. What do I do?
As all items are shipped with insurance, you need to contact me right away. Retain the original packing and put the piece back inside. You will need the USPS insurance number, then you will take it to your Post Office for them to inspect. Once they determine that it was properly packaged, they will issue a refund. This may take a while.
You don't have an item that I want. Will you try to find it for me?
Yes, if you will send me an email, then I will make every effort to locate the item that you want. If it is found at another website, I will send you their link. If I find it while shopping, I will purchase it and notify you that the item is now available. It will be held for five days. If you do not contact me within that five days for purchase, the item will then be placed into the regular inventory.
Why are some of the items unmarked?
Many pottery companies were haphazard with their markings. During some periods of time they did not mark them. However, referringi to an antique book which shows the item in question with a mark, guarantees that your piece is just as authentic. If we do not know the maker of our pieces, they will be placed in the unknown category until we do know. If we are sure about whom the maker is but haven't got a book to reference to, it will still go into the Unknown category.
We will ship your order to any address which you designate, but you will be responsible for notifying the addressee that it is coming and they then will be responsible should any damages occur.
Will you match the price on another website?
If the price for the exact same item is higher, then I will make an adjustment, as long as it is in keeping with the stated antique value in an antique guide book. But the item must be the exact same. However, please keep in mind that my prices are set using antique value guides and are not done haphazardly. Some vendors are unaware of the value of an item. Their items may be higher or lower than my own as a result.
How long will my order take to get to me?
That depends on how you want the item shipped. Quicker shipping will cost more. We are perfectly willing to ship overnight if you wish to pay the higher costs. Otherwise, we try to send all items as cheaply as possible to keep costs down. It also depends on how far you live from us as to how long it takes. If you are on the West Coast or overseas, then it will obviously take a lot longer.
